I'll agree with plasman, I liked Zanarkand before it was destroyed by Sin. I also really liked Balamb Garden and Esthar. My favorite from FFVIII, though, is the Shumi Village. IX? ...I don't really have a favorite from there. I guess it was all pretty good. I didn't particularly enjoy it though. VII had some of the most memorable places, imo. The Forgotten Capitol/Forgotten City, Temple of the Ancients, and of course Midgar. I can't wait to see Midgar redone in Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus! But anything on SNES and lower I didn't have any interest in. The one exception is the Phantom Forest from VI.
