Well, I was asking to make sure you know about the difference in PAL and NTSC hardware. If you buy a piece of software from the U.S. (NTSC compatable), it won't play in your PAL hardware. These things you have to look out for when considering purchases of video games and DVDs.

I believe your PS2 can be modded to be able to play American games if you wish to import, but I wouldn't be able to tell you where such a thing would be done. Your best bet would be asking around at gaming stores.

Shady game stores, 'cause as far as I know, that's not exactly legal. Might be worth your while to buy a used U.S. PS2 on ebay or sumthin, if you're looking to play a lot of American games. Probably costs around 50 or 60 quid.

Australia (or PAL in general) got kind of screwed and never got FFT here.

I just play it on an emulator. Runs fine.

ePSXe 1.52 is the best, But since I play it on my old Pentium 2, I used Virtual Game Station.
