After long hours of testing, these are my conclusions.

Chocobo Weapon

Techniques:

Chocobuckle: Apparently, the Chocobo Weapon (or, more accurately, the party) has escaped roughly ∞ times. Not only does that make it impossible for the targeted character to survive, the fact that one cannot escape an infinite number of times creates a paradox, which causes the game to glitch, resulting in Game Over, all save files being lost, and your house being reduced to rubble for good measure.

Choco Meteor: Causes Meteor to hit Gaia. Game Over, plus your current save file gets destroyed. Doesn't affect your house, though.

Choco Source: Causes one character's stats to drop to zero, permanently. This includes maxHP, so the character can never be used again. Also, this will screw up his or her dialogue for some reason, predictably causing the game to glitch and erase your saved game.

Choco Pandora's Box: Rather than a question mark, you get a chocobo. Deals 9999 damage and 999 MP damage to everyone. I can't think of a reason offhand to make it erase a saved game, but it does!

Electric de Chocobo: A lightning-elemental summon. Nobuo Uematsu appears and erases your saved game, unless you absorb lightning. If you do, your saved game is safe! However, Electric de Chocobo is the only piece of music that will play for the rest of the game.

Warrrrk!: Chocobo Weapon's ultimate technique, only used when its HP drops below 300 million, and also when its MP drops below 30 million. I'm not sure what it does, because my game had been erased by then.

Strategy: Buy several memory cards; play it at someone else’s house.

However, the "Electric de Chocobo" (which I loved, BTW, that was excellent) got me thinking. We could do references to chocobo themed things from other FF games. First suggestion: A move called "The Chocobo's Kweh" (It's a pub in FFTA, in case you don't recognize it). I'll give more later.
