I figured it out. I had to format the HDD. I got the HDD and game off my friend and I didn't think i'd ever play it or again or even off the PS2 for that matter. So i went back to install it and it wouldn't let me cause the FF that was on there wasn't installed with MY PS2. It all works now . thanks for trying.
