Seymour's voice is so damn annoying! fighting him 4 times also made me sick to my stomach
I pretty much hated all Ronso characters in the game, they were just to annoying. Seymour was tied with them though. It wasnt so much the character being the problem with him, it was his voice and his long winded speechs he would give right before you fought him. So if you died you would have to listen to it over again, very annoying.
Now for some words of wisdom:

I dont mind seymour, and i like the ronso characters but I do have a severe dislike of ALL the crusaders, tidus, dona and barthello
I like Seymour, he has some good lines. ok he is bi but he is the only good bi villain there is. but i simply hate Shelinda and Rikku.
