I've had Advent Children on DVD and UMD preordered for months, and I've probably still got another 3-4 months on that one.

Had Shadow of the Colossus reserved for quite awhile before it came out a week ago, same with We Love Katamari before that. I didn't bother reserving Romancing SaGa because Americans don't like the SaGa series.

I'll probably be reserving Dragon Quest VIII now that we know it will be coming with the playable FFXII demo.

Last week i preordered Resident Evil 4 and Soul Calibur 3 for the PS2.
When you preordered them you got a free SC3 and RE4 tshirt.

You cant go wrong with free shirts to wear around the house. :mog:

I rarely pre-order anything...also no. Working at Gamestop taught me you don't need to preorder any game. If you don't get it the first week out then you have a 99% chance of getting it in the next week.

If I ever pre-order anything its usually because I get an extra along with it and if its a videogame I care enough to pre-order in the first place I'll probably appreaciate the extra. I agree with you though so I dont ever bother preordering.

oh, and i dont have to get off my ass to get it, comes straight to the door...

I think if you pre-order PSU you get a teeshirt. That and I learned the EB games only ships stuf on time if it's preordered. I learned that the hard way when I went to go buy Shining Force Neo.

When I worked at gamestop shirts were always 'misplaced' XD We took the shirts. If you want the bonus and it is something like a shirt it is always safer to do it online.

I'm thinkin' real hard, and I'm sure the only thing I've ever pre-ordered was my copy of Halo 2, which I stood outside of Sam Goody at midnight in the snow to pick up. And I didn't even get to play it that night before falling asleep.

I preordered Fire Emblem 9, FFIV Advance, and Dragon Quest VIII.

Preordering makes video game store employees happy. It raises our numbers and makes us treat you, as customers better.
