About the movie..

I might see it though I am no where near being fond of horrors. Heard the villain is like 83...

I'm not sure I'll see it. Haven't seen the first one either, though both look like very good horror movies, I honestly find most horror movies kind of depressing to be honest. Not sure why. Not to mention for some reason I have difficulty handling gore in a horror movie. Maybe because it's usually so over the top. Ironically I can watch things like an operation on TV with no trouble, and gore in things like war movies doesn't bother me. Sometimes, I just make no sense.

A question for Giga Guess
Dont spoil anything, but does this movie carry on the plot from Saw I anyway, or is it a new cast and a new errrr game.....

(SPOILER) Not really, he looks like 60 IMO, cool at the end of Saw one and when they show his identity, sorta made it into a murder mystery
Oh, and crash, Saw was more like a thriller IMO, but the clown thing scared the shiznits out of me, and when he rides in on a tricycle, holy ....

Saw isnt a horror movie...
But Gory, yes a bit, but not as bad as you would think, the movie just sets a creepy atmosphere...

There's a sequal already? What is this. I never saw the first. Haven't heard of a sequal until now. And I have to say that was damn fast. No way did they wait to see how the first on faired before filming this. Did they do it in tandem like LotR movies or some crap? Or is the story tied in a way that it was planned from the beginning like the Matrix movies?

they did that with spider man too, planned it out before the first even got into the cinemas, I guess they are just confident ( cocky ) it was going to be good....
And I thought they would continue the story from the last one, it left it on a cliff hanger, or maybe it was bad writing.......

Hmm, I just wish Saw || wasn't so well known...I think its too good of a movie to be known for the preps. But it is a free country (mine is anyway...at least I think...o_O''). I think that gun device thing is going to be a really big part of the movie. And does anyone know whats up with that freaky clown in the movie anyway? I never really caught on =(

Where did that clown in the movie come into play anyway..is he the lead bad guy? D= Gah I'm so confused ;[ I need a hug

In order to gain, you must lose something of equal value. This is one of many of my beleifs that I beleive are true.

I thought the first Saw movie was a huge waste of time and money. Directors such as Takeshi Miike have already accomplished time and time again what James Wan was trying to tackle in this film. Wan completely failed, turning what could have been a pleasing gore flick into a horribly acted bull "whodunnit." I literally spent half the movie thinking "Will this guy just cut his goddamn leg off, already?" There's no way in Hell I'm wasting my time with the sequel, I'll be in Los Angeles tomorrow enjoying what Saw wishes it could be.

I thought the first was really good, it wasn't really all that gory in my oppinion. The second looks like it will be a lot more gory from what I've seen from the previews, I will probably rent it when I can.

I saw it, and loved it just as much as the first. Jigsaw really shines in the second film. And if there are loose ends you're still confused about after Saw I, then see Saw II to get those explained.

As for loose ends concerning Jigsaw himself, maybe the Rebirth comic will help add some understanding to his work. I strongly suggest, if you're a fan of the movies, to see the Rebirth comic. Rebirth can be found
here. It contains spoilers for Jigsaw's character, so if you haven't seen the first movie, don't watch the comic.

I'd highly recommend these two movies. Whannel and Wan have bright futures ahead of themselves.

To hell with Battletoads and Double Dragon.
THIS is the ultimate team.

Dreddz....without giving away the whole plot, there are a couple of points that hark back to the first one.

Many thanks Christmas!
