Make sure you have someone with !Steal when you fight him after that. You can get each piece of Genji equipment, if you're lucky enough.
Or better yet, !Capture.
use a summoner to quickly destroy him when he starts using jump and use haste,shell and protect at the start of the battle.

there ar emany ways to kill him i was lvl 99 for all charactors killed him easy still hits you for big damage keep a whm or alot of potions on you plus the last boss after that is even harder

I used all dragoon, then Jump and he goes down pretty quick and if you are referring to fighting him on the big bridge then i dont think you can steal of him...

I spent COUNTLESS hours leveling up to some level a little above 90, I think, not 99 though. And I was fighting Iron Giants! Iron Giants!!! And it took me COUNTLESS of HOURS! Level 99... in the second world... in FF5??? NOOOOOOO!!! What a nightmare! *faints*
