It really depends on what we would have to pay. If it was like something awful where you had to pay 10 bucks to register an account and that was it, I would gladly do it. But if it was much more, probably not.
That being said, I did donate 20 bucks to Cid when he was asking for donations. If he was in a pinch again, I probably would do so again. It's weird how I'll gladly donate to keep the place alive if it is asked for once in a great while, but I wouldn't agree with mandatory montly payments.
Probably not. None of the other forums I visit require payment, and Something Awful does a pretty good job of living up to its name sometimes.

SA actually has some brilliant, original and interesting threads. I paid $10 ages ago, and despite not using it often, when I have gone there I've seen some pretty good stuff.
