nope, this does actually have a proper name of it's own not like Library etc. There's not more than one of it. but remember you don't find the name out from any person in the game. You find it by another means in game

the only thing i can think of that is golden (apart from chocobos) are the golden sparks in the water where you use that dolphin to get to the high level by the high wind.

when I say golden, there are 3 main golden important things in the game. think of what they are, this is in relation to 2 of them or can be for the 3rd one but closer to the 2

I dunno. Connection to both of those...
Vlakorados. The game doesnt direclty tell you its name, and you cant even scan it. Buyt it helps get chocobos. Which could be used for racing at the saucer, and could be connected to the one other gold thing that we/I havent figured out.

Again - THE ANSWER IS INANIMATE DoaJ. Again - YOU DO NOT FIND THE NAME FROM A PERSON. It is given by a far simpler way than that you just have to LOOK.

And the golden is referring to the gold saucer mostly, but there's something it's connected to. THAT'S the link, but remember it's not physically connected with the answer.

This reminds me of Dyne's gun arm. Although he's clearly animate, his gun arm is mechanical. Presumably it has a name, like Barrets' many gun arms. An important part of the plot is when (SPOILER)Dyne goes on a rampage in Gold Saucer, and everyone suspects Barret. He has given up the life he had in Corel, including (unwittingly) his daughter Marlene.

Is it by any chance " The Star Cup" in Dio's show room?
It is very close to a golden lamp but does not actually touch it.

It looks vaguely like a washing machine or something, but upon closer examination, the cup is evident on top of its platform.

Not sure about the "cast behind bit" or even particularly the " What you think I am I'm not" bit. That's my best effort and I apologise in advance if I blatantly misread or failed to read earlier hints

The LINK to the answer is connected physically to the golden, but the answer isn't connected physically, only literally. (meaning it's no where near it).
