is it the mural on the wall of the room in the temple of the ancients where you fight the dragon?
is it the mural on the wall of the room in the temple of the ancients where you fight the dragon?
Why do you imprison your saviour?
It's not the mural in the Temple of the Ancients.
Repost:
Thrice illuminated (Lit by Sun, Electric Lights, Fire)
Solar and cruxiform (Sun and Cross Motiff)
It covers but hides
No great secrets (Nothing Important)
...Makes me think of a rug or carpet in a room. There could be, for instance, sunlight streaming in through a window, with candlelight and some form of electric light both inside the room. And the rug/carpet would simply cover the floor.
That's not a guess, obviously--just an idea to get thoughts churning.
oh yeah im thinking of this town where cloud and party stay at and find a materia on the floor of the inn......... damn im bad with towns lol i really got to play again >.<
I thought about practically every single Inn in the whole game, and the only Inn I can think of where that might happen is Icicle Inn. You mean Icicle Inn? A few other inns have Elixirs or the item pack in Aeris's house, but no materia as I recall.
The answer is the carpet on the floor next to the wall map at Icicle Inn. It has a pattern that resembles suns and crosses, it is near ceiling lights, sunlight through the window, and a lit fireplace.
The nothing important it covers is simpler than a materia; it is simply a patch of bare floor.
Musenji had the breakthrough in all but name, but Weimar Pluto Knight VII supplied the name. In a case like this I'll just suggest whoever posts first gets to go.
You cheeky git. How do you come up with these riddles?
Usually I just thumb through the strategy guide and latch onto an image, item, monster, or location that inspires me. In this case it was the image of Icicle Inn. Originally I had planned to make it about the wall map, but the pattern on the carpet grabbed my attention.![]()
Although I freely admit that there was a comment that influenced me:
I took that as a direct challenge.![]()
rofl well now all that's left is for another riddle ...........
lol Strat Guide xD
Mmm, well okay, I just came back to check today. I wasn't really offering mine as a guess, but since Weimar hasn't posted yet I guess I can post one. (I did think of icicle town, with the image of sunlight streaming through a window, and also thought of the idea of a fireplace instead of candlelight...)
Okay, so here:
Like a simple science project
Saturation unto a string
Or adult’s chalice elect,
Is the nature of this thing.
You may spare the hopper,
With your new hope erected,
Or “rightfully gain copper”
When trials are recollected.
nice rhyming
the only thing i can think of is just from the saturation of a string line, and that's seto's tears. they fall at a constant, slow speed and along the exact same line. anything to do with that?
Why do you imprison your saviour?
Mmm, no, I ought to note that the first two lines refer to something in real life. A real science project that kids sometimes do. Lemme know if that's out-of-bounds.
I, too, go through numerous walkthroughs I randomly find for inspration. The long lists of monsters, enemy skills, materia, armor, and weapons are of great use (which is how I came up with the 'Cloud's Swords' riddle. Notice they were listed in alphabetical order?)
Good for you! Man, you don't screw around! Note: don't get on your bad side.
As for the current riddle:
What kind of science project are we looking at here? Volcano? Magnets? Grass? Let me narrow it down: Geology, Physics, Biology, Astronomy. Which category would it belong to?
Well, I did say saturation unto a string, which is literally what the project consists of. It's chemistry.
Osmosis involved here? lol, sorry, but I'm drawing a blank. Chemistry; now I'm thinking of potions, elixers, something along that line. Hero drink. But this is just pondering aloud.
