It's neither. There have been a multitude of good guesses though!

I think it's either Steal, Morph, or Throw, but I can't decide which one. It's been a while since I've played thru the game, so I don't remember which one fits the criteria, but I'll go with Morph.

So far all i got is

-We know its magic, but not underwater or a summon

Could mean what the spell looks like, like somekind of wind or something to do with air (like aero).
Could also mean that it heals you in someway, like how a 'breath of fresh air' can revitalise someone, or that its just something really useful and nice to have.

Getting me is like a charm.

Suggests that you either had to charm someone into giving you the materia, or could mean like a magical charm, in that you had to use an item to get it.

Deep beneath the earth I sleep,

Probably means that you either got it in crater, cause i cant really think of any other time that you were underground, except for in the lifestream or that cave in wutai

You can find me on the road less traveled.

Probably means that you don't find it on the main road that you have to go to continue with the story, in that you could finish the game without ever finding it.

Means that its probably somewhere very hot, with fire around it.

So if you meant its a magic as in a materia, I'm guessing its the Steal As Well Materia you get in the cave in the Da-Chao mountains behind the fire.

Your logic is very good, however it isn't steal as well, but you are getting on the right track with your thought processes for the most part

Was looking through the enemy skill list on the main site, is it the Enemy Skill 'Angel Whisper'?

I am a breath of fresh air, -- Cures a lot of statuses, so this spell can turn the fight around and revitalise your characters, just like a breath of fresh air (could also be something to do with that its pretty much the opposite effect of the spell 'bad breath').

Getting me is like a charm. -- You need to manipulate the Pollensaltas to get it. So its as if your charming them into giving it to you.


Deep beneath the earth I sleep, -- The Pollensaltas are in the Northern Cave/Crater so they are beneath the ground.

I dwell within a fiery disposition -- Cant quite remember where exactly you see the Pollensaltas, but Im guessing its somewhere on a side road that you dont have to take and this path maybe has something to do with fire?
