    It shares a name with something else in the game, but it was badly translated into English while it's namesake was correctly translated.

    Correct!

    Vagyrisk is a mistranslation of Basilisk, which would make sense since it causes petrification. There's ambiguity between B/V and R/L when translating from Japanese.

    I've heard rumors that low-level Basilisks drop them, but so far I've only seen them dropped by Command Grand Horns.
