I can think only of lucrecia and barret.
Barret may hold himself responsible for the death of biggs and wedge and co but i didn't notice it eating him up much
And lucrecia is actually kinda the source of everything so very relevent to the story but easy to miss.
Unless this isn't a person.
It sounds like lucrecia too me. She's related to Seph. and he flys. She's part of jenova i think. She's really a big part of the story kinda also
I knew I should've waited a while before handing out hints. shinangel2292, you're correct; it was Lucrecia.
Akin to the aerial cataclysm (Sephiroth believe Jenova (the calamity from the skies) is his mother, when in fact Lucrecia is his mother)
Sided with the adversary (Lucrecia chose to be with Hojo instead of Vincent)
Despair and penance (Vincent punished himself for not protecting Lucrecia from Hojo)
The escort does writhe within. (More of the above)
He's not online right now. There's a 24 hour allowance before your turn can be offered, so that's fine. I look forward to your riddle.
I'll make one i guess...
All i do is sleep
and mumble sometimes
but when you give me some object
i'll give you protection from the skys
rage.
