Umm, materia system? Limit breaks?
Umm, materia system? Limit breaks?
The last words of Oscar Wilde, to the wallpaper in his room - "One of us has to go"
Here's my interpretation of the riddle.
Like an ancient monument
Said to be hard to get
But you can drink of it
as often as you like
A description of the answer, perhaps. I think the last two lines refer to a place where one can find random encounters.
But without enough cups
At least at the time
Once you get enough
You can't go back for it
The answer is something that is miss-able?
So instead take the last
Of the empty cups
Give them to one and
Go straight to the top
A description of a method to get the miss-able thing?
My guess is the Trine E.Skill and the battle against Godo at the Pagoda.
ForestOwl is correct! The answer is Trine.
It appears as a rotating pyramid (the ancient monument). It's easily learned from the random enemy Stilva, but you only have two E-Skill materia at the time (not enough cups). The only way to get Trine on the other two E-Skill materia is to give them both to Yuffie (the one) and have her take on Goda in the Pagoda (go straight to the top).
That was a great riddle, BG-57. Sorry I solved it so quickly.
Grounded for life
Only the love of another can make me fly
Forgotten and decaying
Yet hope comes in strange forms.
Is that an enemy?

The rocket? Shinra No. 26 has been grounded since Cid aborted the mission to save Shera. Cid himself cannot restart the program, and as a result it lies "forgotten and decaying." In spite of the circumstances, however, Cid does finally make it into space.Originally Posted by The Lone Forest Ranger
Not the rocket. Since you mentioned the answer, Cid, twice, I'll give it to you.
Grounded for life (The Shinra stopped the space program, then commandeered the Highwind and Tiny Bronco.)
Only the love of another can make me fly (Shera fixes Shinra 26 prior to launch)
Forgotten and decaying (Cid became a recluse, remaining alone in the rocket)
Yet hope comes in strange forms. (His dream of becoming an astronaut was realised, but only because they had to stop Meteor. I'd say that's pretty strange circumstances)
I was close.Nice riddle.
Let's see...
In life, time doesn't stop for the hesitant
In fact, indecision might even pull you down
But all Clouds have silver lining
When you fall, you arise stronger.
What does this refer to? I'll accept certain related answers.
Is it when Tifa helped Cloud to discover his 'true' self in the Lifestream?
Not quite, although that actually fits the riddle pretty well.
No. It's not something that's terribly important to the story.
The riddle has nothing to do with Sephiroth.
