The riddle has nothing to do with Great Gospel, nor any other Limit Break.
I'm assuming you're referring to Tifa and Scarlet. Unfortunately, the riddle has nothing to do with that incident.
While I don't want to give an outright hint, I admit that the riddle is worded somewhat ambiguously. I'd recommend paying close attention to the first line, as I doubt it can be solved without uncovering the meaning therein.
Does the first line have to do with the "Wait" function of the ATB?
