ff7 riddles

Yeah...I sort of made a donkey of myself. Sorry about that. I was pretty tired at the time, though I got over it really fast.

This might break the rules, I'm not sure:


I'm only found once in FF 6,
Keeping company with poor fools
who like to play tricks.

I'm found once more in FF 8,
With a lonely child in yellow,
vowing to carry his own weight.

Oddly, I'm not found in FF 7.
though you can clearly see my product by land,
and my source by heaven.


Even if you haven't played the others, it's entirely possible to figure it out from just the last stanza. Bonus points if you can identify the other references.
