Okay, here goes...

Contained within the bowels of a haze in the north
An altered edition of an exploit most virulent
The user, a grand given upon glorious defeat
The rider, an appendage of knowledge does he seek

It's probably easy, i'm kinda hopeless at writing these.

Anything to do with Ruby Weapon? He emerges from the crater and is pretty tough to defeat. He also gives you a Gold Chocobo when you beat him, which something you can ride to seek out various cool things.
