What's one thing that you never go anywhere without? I don't mean your wallet, ID, or those essentials that you should be carrying (you can include them if you feel it is important to), but something not necessarily needed, like a favorite watch, belt, or hat. It could be a teddy bear; heck, I don't know what people drag around these days.
But share.
As for myself, I always carry at least one ball-point pen around. Very boring, I know.

This thing Matt gave me stays in my car at all times, until I don't have my car anymore, then it will stay with me again. It's a sphere of rose quartz and it's neat. Also, pens and something to write on. A tiny Oscar the grouch used to stay with me, but he was unhappy in the dark of my bag.

I try to always bring my camera with me. That's about it. I usually bring my cellphone and iPod with me at all times too.
