Hmm... the fight against Braska's Final Aeon involves Tidus' Squall-esque sentiments for his old man, and lots of flinging of words to provide the heroes with an edge over their opponent... it doesn't match the riddle well enough, though.

in a bid to keep my greatets thread going (it can't die yet! ) i'm gonna take a guess at the boss battle against the wendigo on lake macalania. i'm only basing this on a couple of lines though so probly not right. the mutual aid thing could refer to the guado healing him, and the boxer thing is obvious. the best defense being a good offence may refer to him going berserk

im being drawnto Cid. He's a figher. Riku and him fight like cats and dogs. Riu mixes sthings in her overdrive. The Al Dhed are all apatetic toward the loss of home. instead of trying to fight the fiends killing home they light it up [good offense?].
