Insubstantial yet solid <-- Yes the grid look solid but it is not a substance.
Cannot exist without light <-- It will not be learned unless the character light the attributes/abilities with sphere.
But its origin is hidden <-- No one know where Sphere Grid is produce
Away from the sun <-- The light of Sun did not affect the Grid weather or light.
