    BG got it! it's wantz

you may wonder what i'm doing up here --> i'm willing to bet there isn't a lot of cutom on the side of a freezing cold mountain
but i must fulfill my duty --> he told his brother o'aka that he would help Yuna as a merchant
i won't be staying too long
i'll hide when you find your wings --> when you get the airship he 'hides' under the canopy of macalania woods.

    Bg's turn!

Why do you imprison your saviour?

    Solutions to your problems
    Just consult your opponent
    The same amount as souls
    On the day of judgement

"consulting your opponent" makes mew think of scan or sensor, and the last 2 lines could refer to the relase of pyreflies when a fiend dies, but i can't think of just one conclusive answer? :S

Why do you imprison your saviour?

Consulting you opponent does refer to a skill, but not Scan, Sensor, or Death Skill.

    Is it bribe?

Solutions to your problems --> finished the battle
Just consult your opponent --> you opponent needs an agreed amount before leaving
The same amount as souls --> i've heard somewhere that the amount the opponent needs is related to hp somehow, but i don't know the actual calculation
On the day of judgement --> not sure on this? maybe just cos it's a battle, dunno

Why do you imprison your saviour?

Bribe is indeed the skill involved, but not the final answer. Keep going!

ok we'll look at it logically

Solutions to your problems --> seems pretty simple. the answer solves a particular problem you have
Just consult your opponent --> bribe
The same amount as souls --> i'm sticking with this referring to HP
On the day of judgement --> perhaps the final battle. final aeon v sin. or wasn't judgement one of penances moves? mind you this is BG and he doesn't have PAL

Why do you imprison your saviour?

True, but there is special significance to the use of plurals in this line.

    Correct.

It is a number but not in reference to HP.

Neither the final battles nor anything to do with Penance. I don't do PAL-based riddles simply because I want everyone to have an equal chance at answering it.

The third line makes me think of Tonberries' Karma attack, which deals damage based on how many fiends, or "souls", you have killed: is it anything to do with that? Bribing Tonberries earns you Amulets, which can be used for Mix or to customise Pickpocket onto armour. And the first line could well refer to Bribe, since it 'solves' two problems at once; defeating the monster, and collecting rare items that in some cases, you can't get from Stealing or as drops. So, though I'm probably way off, I'll say Bribing Tonberries.
    This is a signature.

maybe "problems" refers to status effects. the move i think of with multiple status effects is bad breath and the solutions can be remedy, ribbon, esuna, and proof abilities

It's not Tonberries that have to be bribed in this case.

You are correct in your interpretation of problems. The list of solutions needs to be narrowed down a bit.

i'm gonna go for the proof abilities being the solutions, as there are many of them but they all fall under the same area.#

the only thing i can think of with referrence to "number of souls" is either MP (though i would have said mind not soul) and the actual pyreflies that leave the fiend when it dies, the larger the fiend the more pyreflies there are.

    It's not Proof abilities.

The number of souls is not refering to MP or Pyreflies.

ok then i choose healing items as there are a wide variety (eye drops, echo screen, antidote, etc) but they all fall under the category of items.

does the souls thing refer to how many fiends you have killed like firo said?

Why do you imprison your saviour?
