should i stay or should i go now --> you have to decide whether to tell gatta to stay at his post or go to the front line. you have to tell him twice which i why the line is written twice
if i go then i will fall --> if u tell him to go to the front line, gatta dies
so should i stay within these walls?
and let the master take my place --> if he stays at the base then he lives and luzzu dies
for sacrificing one of the same race --> luzzu convinced chappu to join the crusaders and effectively killed him

Perhaps a bit obvious to be the answer, but is it Master Tonberry?

To all that I choose to dispose - A reference to the Karma attack, the damage of which is based on how many enemies the targeted character has previously defeated.
But don’t be fooled for I’m not my predecessor - It's predecessor is the Tonberry, which is lot weaker.
Me, I’m more of a rector - This would make a lot of sense if we remove a large portion of the religious connotation from the word "Rector", leaving it just to mean 'Master', 'Leader' or anything of that like.

i'm gonna guess that this is quite a way in answering the riddle so i'm gonna hide the definitions. use them if u want.

quiescence - a state of quiet inactivity
heretofore - "sa far", but used in a negative sense. e.g. "so far, he hasn't called"
tumult - a state of commotion

i'll attempt to re-write this into english it may be a little wrong though so bare with me

calm, moving around equals
so far, the tradition of aura makes a new aura
damp, crisp, and thin are shared properties
look for 2 words with similar meanings to calm the commotion


even with this i still have no idea. can i ask, is there a reason why there are captial letters dotted around? cos if there is then we have:
Q, A, H, H, T, S, T

I've made some very small changes to the riddle, I'm sure if you look close devil, you'll see what they are.

An almost fair summary, but you're not using my intended meaning for some of the words I've used.
I'll tell you one at a time as hints if you like...for example my use of "heretofore" is not in a negative sense, just a purely chronological one.
