Essay Help

Hello all. I've been attempting to write an essay for a local gamer paper for a while. Basically, it's FF vs Zelda. Showing which is more popular determined by sales then conjecture as to why which franchise is more popular with evidence to support this conjecture.

The latter part is easy, even getting the evidence to support it. The hard part is getting the sales data for all of these games. I've done some searching and have been able to get some rather flimsy sales numbers.

If anybody know where I can find these numbers, for either franchise, please let me know.

I've googled this countless times and have only come up with useless information or extremely flimsy data. I've also sent e-mails to both Nintendo of America and Square-Enix requesting their publicly released numbers; sadly there were no replies.

That helped, there was a site in the refrences that had sales numbers back logging through many years; still not all the data I need though.
