    Default Theodor Kittelsen

I'm not sure whether many of you have heard of him, but he's a Norwegian artist. The picture in my signature & profile picture are pictures of his. I was wondering what you think to his work; here's a few links to some of his drawings, he does very spooky art & good fantasy art too:

Also if any of have heard of him & seen his works before, I want to know your opinions on his works.

I particularly like his darker works i.e. the pencil / mark making ones. They really draw me in. Some of you might now of the work from the one man band Burzum, as his work is on Varg's album covers.

Yeah, he does nice paintings. I've seen a lot of his work, and I've even been in the house he used to live in. Anyway, this picture always fascinated me:

It's a sea monster that turned into a white horse and lured people to ride on it, and then it would jump into the lake and drown the person on top.

He did the Burzum covers, that's how I've heard of him (I think he did Filosofem?)

Anyway, killer artist. His work makes me want to visit Norway.
