Thread: Where are the machines?

1. #1

Default Where are the machines?

If there is a model of JME on the present time and a developed version on the future where are they?We donīt see it on the game.
Squaresoft tends to back up what they say on script with game events even when there were unimportant things.
For example,Square says that the capsule landed on Esthar.
And,voila, when we search through the continent we found the capsule.
That scene has the main purpose of backing up what Square said.I donīt think it was just to play cards.

So they must back up the JME concept whith in game events.
But I didnīt found JME anywhere.

Do you see anything on the game that could be JME on Esthar and on Ultimeciaīs time?
Flo:Honey, the clock is late.Go out fix it.
Mayor Dobe:What hours is it?
Flo: 15:30
Mayor Dobe:Hey do you wanna to send the Estharians to Centra or what?
Flo:Ok,let it be on 3:45

As long as we know someone invented it and it is mentioned so we know of its' existence with a sorceress far in the future using the better version of it is pretty enough.

So what you think is important if the player come in contact with the machine?

We didn't see Hyne in the game either......So what do you think Squall and CO should do with the JME if they see it and possesses it?

What I mean is that Square tends to back up concepts involving objects, places and events showing us the objects and the places somewhere on the game.

What do you think it is for then?
Duh!!!!
Didn´t I already answered that?

Don´t mess things.
Hyne is a legend,JME not.
Who said anything about using the machine?
I just said we should be able to find the machine somewhere on the game.

Ya, the machine is with Odine most probably and with Ultimecia in the future. Square did tell you about the machine and tell you its location anyway. Whether you see it or not is a different issue.

I think the main reason of Square ever bother to mention it in the first place is for us to play cards.....if you think there is some other reasons, feel free to share....

Legend cannot appear in the game....??? What make you think that anyway. Here is something said by Edea....

So the time has come. You're the legendary SeeD destined to face me?

Ya, like FF VII we have all those 1/35 soldiers, tissue, an exact copy of the masamume blade...etc. And what do we do with it? Just put it in the inventory as collectors. Anyway, does it really matters so much to you to have this item "Junction Machine Ellone" in your inventory or you can catch a glance of it to satisfy you.... The "Proof Of Omega" is more satisfying....

Actually, I agree with FE(god forbid) on this one, in the sense that I think it was a bit odd of them never showing the machine when it was so important. I guess it might be because it would have to be in Ultimecias castle(some hidden tower or basement perhaps?) and a hi-tech device like the JME would spoil the dungeon look.

The machine was briefly introduced near the end of Disc 3 and was used by Ultimecia to send her conscious to possess sorceress of the past.

It answered the question of why Ultimecia is able to appear in the past.
But that machine has it limits as mentioned by Dr Odine and only Ellone can take Ultimecia further back into the past to compress time.

So JME basically tell us how Ultimecia send her conscious to the past.

And Odine already mentioned that he invented it and in the future, it got improved and Ultimecia possess it.

Whether to show a picture or sight of the machine is pretty optional....

Something to take note of is Dr Odine won't let his precious invention came into possession of Squall or even let them see it since he might have the idea they might want to destroy it, not to mention Ultimecia who practically rely on it.....

Really?
How do they know the shape of the machine?
Odine don´t really need to worry about that.
Surely the Estharians will respect his privacity and not tell about it to our characters.

Also,he knows the machine is destined to be intact since time is set on stone.

I bet with you that we can see the machines even though the game don´t point to them as the machines.
And there is no one in Ulti´s time because it is not on the future in opposition of what people think.

We have on the future an improved version of the machine.
But the improved version was created first.

A primitive version was constructed on the past then.

I know where the machines appear on the game.

And I bet that Hyne can also be seen on the game(only on the third disc).

And he is very odd.

hmmmm... FE, you always seem to say you know things and state things without proving them right away, or saying you'll tell us later. please don't do that

infact, just take what you said, like about knowing where the machines are, and saying you believe you can see hyne, and add screenshots to support urself, and maybe people will be more willing to cooperate or at least argue reasonably.

Thank you Hysterian!

It may be a shape of a tomato or a potato but whatever the shape and size of the machine is, does it really matters so much to you?

Ya, we see "MACHINES" all over the game, and I have no idea what "MACHINES" you are refering to. And if you are refering JME, how will you know which one is JME since nobody know how its look like and please dun said you know and wait for the next "epsoide" to find out.

It is only true and valid cause you said so. How can an "IMPROVED" version being created in the future first when there isn't any "ORIGINAL" version to be IMPROVED from anyway? If you have some other meanings in mind, please specific why and how.

I seen him too, and I even played cards with him. Not to mentioned I also see JENOVA in Disc 4 too.

It is also funny for the other members when you make a fool of yourself, and this is a "what if" situation.

There IS an original version.

But someone time traveled and created a primitive version on the past after the improved version was created.

Here are the initials of the machines

The one on the past-C.T.

The one on the future-O.C

The last one is the most difficult.

The last one is a smal version of the first one.

It´s easy to transport.
The first one is impossible to transport.

Altough the machines were important to the plot (And I would have liked them to have been explained fully) Maybe Square forgot to show them?

It happens saddly... Even Sqaure arn't perfect, Anyone remember Ultros in FF6? There was a line that inplied that he had made a "deal" of some kind with Sieg/Zieg* but Square obviously forgot to continue that storyline.

*Can't rememeber if it's the real one or the imposter.
