Just keep fighting the harder enemies until you rack up enough battle points, being careful not to lose, and also watching how much GP you have at the time.

yeah I understand, but sometimes I don't even lose. That is, I win all the battle and still get only like 4000 bp or something which really sucks. But there has been times where I've gotten like 15000 so how do you get high bp after winning.

It is the slot u get afterwards. The worse they are and the later you get them the more BP u get.
The last words of Oscar Wilde, to the wallpaper in his room - "One of us has to go"
if u can get all materia broken on the last battle it gives u like 8,000 BPit starts at 1,00 from the 1st battle then increases in steps of 1,000 per battle
Why do you imprison your saviour?
it depends on how devastating the various handicaps are to you. For example, if you have the ribbon equipped and you get "poison" or "frog" you won't earn many battle points for that. If you have a good weapon equipped and you get "weapon broken" then you will get lots of points. You get the most if you manage to survive all eight battles and get tough handicaps.
The points in Battle Square are determined solely by what penalties are incurred between rounds, and between which rounds they occur. Specifically, certain penalties will result in larger BP bonuses, although no penalty gives a particularly large amount of BP until the final sequence of reels.
After completing the first round, for example, a number of handicaps may scroll by (the sequences are not always the same). The lowest possible BP reward for this first penalty set is 1 (if your HP is restored); the highest is 37 (assuming a Summon materia break). The system works in such a way that one is encouraged to finish the full sequence; quitting after six battles will always yield less than 1,000 BP, no matter what combination of handicaps you incurred.
The ideal penalty is a full materia break on the final set of handicaps. Breaking all materia between rounds 7 and 8 nets 10,000 BP, the largest single round bonus possible. Breaking magic materia on the final sequence is also good, as this will add 9,425 BP to your total. All things considered, any eight-round battle in which one accrues more than 10,000 BP is a blessing.
Thank you Masamune 1600 for that useful information and to the rest for your contributions.
