[A] Dead leaves and the dirty ground

Haha, White Stripes title. xD Anyways, this is one of my weekly assignments from my Drawing & Painting classes at school. Draw some dead crinkly leaves, except use interesting composition. I think this has to be my best one yet, I'm really happy with my progress. What do you guys think?





Two images because one was taken with the flash of my camera on and it was darkened and the other (the blue-ish one, dunno why it's like that) was taken without the flash on. The background is sloppy and scribbly since I'm assuming that's how he wants it because he gives me and others good grades when we do that.

O,O they're so beautiful! the blue one looks almost like pen... o.O i like their texture, and the way you got the veins to stand out so well... amazing lol, our art teacher is sometimes like that too, liking certain things in all the projects, and when you do those things you get better grades... she especially likes when you use darker shading
