Anyone know where I might acquire some claws?
Sabin is clearly the best character as well as my favourite, and having him stuck with fire claws is rather frustrating. I rather foolishly lost his dragon claw in the colisseum and was wondering if I might acquire a better weapon than the fire claws for him before the end? Side quests perhaps?

The only better claws for Sabin after the Fire Knuckles are the Dragon Claws and the Tiger Fangs.
You can find a pair of Tiger Fangs in the cave on the Veldt. You can also win a pair of Tiger Fangs from Allo Vers in battle.
Also, you could always equip him with a Merit Award relic and then he can equip everything.
You can steal Tiger Fangs from the Gt.Behemoth in Kefka´s Tower

Or you could just use his Blitz attacks all the time. I honestly don't think I've ever used fight with him unless he severely outclassed an enemy, making a blitz unecessary.
Hmm yeah, but with the genji glove/offering combo, he rocks amock.
where might I acquire a Merit award, by the by?
Bet a Cat Hood in the Colosseum.

Here's the paths that you can get a Cat Hood from:
Imp Halbeard -> Cat Hood
Ageis Shield -> Tortoise Shield -> Titanium -> Cat Hood
Imp Armor -> Tortoise Shield -> Titanium -> Cat Hood
Also:[*]The Imp Halbeard can be stolen from Mantodea or won from Tyranosaur in battle.[*]The Tortoise Shield can be stolen and won from Geckorex in battle.[*]Titanium can be stolen from TumbleWeed in battle.[*]Imp Armor can be won from Sprinter and stolen from Tyranosaur in battle.
Technically, his best weapons are the Tiger Fangs period, you can get two of them by killing Present head AND shell in the same attack.
Then again, you should be using his blitzes (*coughBumRushcough*) most of the time due to the fact Sabin suffers of extremely mediocre equipment, making it not so good of an idea to use the "Fight" command.
