    Default Equalizer?

Something I just thought of asking. I have a sub-woofer. I realized when I tweak winamp I have a tendency to prefer using 'Full Treble' than any other presets. I've tried experimenting but nothing really suits me than 'Full Treble'. Is anyone here the same or I have problems with my hearing (?).

I think I have a lousy videocard which you can't change the bass/tremble via audio control and my sub-woofer doesn't have a bass and tremble button.

Many standard computer speaker systems tend to be a bit unbalanced across the audible spectrum, especially in the lower ranges (bass tends to be a bit strong). Thus, it sounds normal to attenuate the bass a bit and bump up the higher frequencies.

Most speaker systems require at least a little tweaking to get them to sound balanced.

I've yet to see a videocard that lets me change my bass/treble settings

If you think it's that bad, see if it's possible to unplug the subwoofer, or get a pair of speakers that don't require one
