Mario by far. Even though I'm not a complete Nintendo Nerd, he has a good live movie and games that I enjoy. I never got into Sonic games too much.

If you asked me around 2001 or prior to that, I might have said Sonic, but that whole franchise has become profoundly stupid in years since.

Look, there have been seven or eight Mario Party games, how can you not say the same about him?

I was only speaking in context of the main games--you know, the ones that are intended to count.

Sunshine was stupid. Mario 64 was great though. And as much as I hate to admit it, Mario Tennis was fun.

SONIC OWNS! His games go at amuch faster pace, and I like going at a fast pace, hence why I don't like FFVI nearly as much.

Well, I personally like Mario Games more. Even if in Super Mario World, the Goombas looked like Tomatos. (Seriously. I called them Tomato Monsters.)

I'm a bigger Mario fan than Sonic. When I was younger, I was a big Nintendo only advocate, which led to me never buying a Sega system. Though, I had always enjoyed the Sonic series when I could play the games.

I grew out of that well before the Dreamcast, and PSX, but I still enjoy the Mario games much more.

And I also loved Sunshine.

Thats what I also loved about Sonic, the speed. I justl ove games with a huge adreanline rush of speed. Also the music in the Sonic games were catchy as hell, to this day I still hum the music on Green Hill Zone. The characters and the backstory ranged from mediocre to awesome. Mario's cool too but he just doesn't have as much speed and attitude as Sonic did.

Mario doesn't need speed. His games are more fun to play. Sonic's also cool, but I prefer playing Mario over Sonic games.
