Thread: best way to train?

    Default best way to train?

Can anyone tell me? I gotten to level 70+ before, but never to a hundred. I wanna max it out, I know all about it for Ramza with the little use scream over and over and corner a weak enemy thing. But is there a faster way?

    The maximum level is 99.

Ramza's the easiest to max out. You can give him Gained JP Up skill and put Guts as his secondary ability. The skills Accumulate, Yell and Scream will all give him JP without engaging the enemy.

Any generic character will also be able to gain JP with Acculmulate.

Nongeneric characters have a rougher time of it. My suggestion: Orlandu, Agrias, Mustadio, and Beowulf have very useful default skills, so use them with Gained JP Up.

Other nongeneric characters will work better with a skill that gains JP every battle round with close to 100% success. If you kill all enemies except for one, you can have four characters Steal Gil every round. Works every time.

Once you get Math Skills, they make an excellent secondary ability. You can hit enemies every time with a spell like Holy.

Stab Orlandu. OVER AND OVER AND OVER.

    Or do what BG-57 says...

BTW, there is a Gained Exp Up skill as well, but you'll maximize your levels long before your master all the jobs so Gained JP Up is more useful in the long run.

Don't forget to break everything on the surviving character before stealing or negotiating with it.

I've learned that raising everyone's Bravery to a nice 90 or so and equiping them with Blade Grasp is a pretty good defense. It's a stronger position too, when your Spirit is low enough that magic does almost zero damage. Leveling up four generics and Ramza is easy from there; just form a star and start Yelling and Accumulating. Also, battling in Cuars in Lenalia or Sweegy is great, as they cannot attack you if you keep a square of water between you and them.

For non-generics, I recommend making them kick ass.
