You Probably do not have E-Drive that supports DVD-Roms. Check if ur CD-Driver says it supports DVD´-Roms. If there doesn't read DVD on ur Driver it probably doesnt run it.
So u have to get new Driver. I had the same problem with myself with few games but they worked once i got a Driver that supports DVD-Roms.

Well..for the above you have to keep in mind..did you buy the new package that included CoP or the original package? The original package is CDs while the new one is DVD.

You need to have a DVD drive to read DVDs. Much like how you need a PS2 to play PS2 games.
