In FFX she was cool, but seemed just like a copy of all the other main FF heroines, I expected a changed by the time FF came to PS2

There's been other females characters who I hated more, and more I found more annoying. In contrast, Yuna is actually a much stronger character. She doesn't simply run and hide if danger is near, is very devout in her cause, and is willing to give anything to save everyone. I think the main problem people have is the voice actress for her, who did sound a bit timid in comparison. They could've got someone better in to do the voice by far.
But in all honesty, no I don't find her annoying. I've been playing through against recently and, truth be told, she's probably my favourite female character in FFX. Lulu's as cold as ice and not a lot of fun, and Rikku is just way to bouncy and happy for my tastes. Yuna is the happy medium.

Thats how she's supposed to start off in the game. She's supposed to be shy, and very conservative. And then become very independant and strong.

ok. so i AM the only one that hates yuna...everyone doesnt 'hate' her, they 'dislike' her.
she's annoying, too nice, and just too weird. and in my game, she's too weak!
why should i? oh...so she can get killed...
