yea VI had pretty sweet heros, i liked VIII as a game and same as VII but, i dunno, didnt seem like they did anything spectacular in the game

I wish this one was multiple poll. I decided to go with FFV's chaarcters. I love those guys. It actually felt like you were heroes during that game. VIII has an awsome cast of heroes too.
wow, what a decision. i dont know... my nostalgia tells me ff4, 5, or 6, but 7,8, and 9 kicked ass as well.

Character-wise, FFVI takes the cake. I thought Ramza from FFT was great, but VI gets my vote due to the sheer volume of great characters.
...Unless of course we can vote Xenogears.. In which case that game wins due to Elly and Citan Uzuki.
FFIX had the most heroic and well-developed cast, in my opinion.
I'm going with the spinoff option, specifically Final Fantasy Tactics, because of people like Ramza, Mustadio, and Orlandu.

FF1, the story wasnt as devolped as the later ones, there all pretty much heroes in that game .......
VII of course
ffvi and ffix were the best for me. but i had to choose ffvi because all the characters in some way were heroic. where as in ffix i mostly noticed zidane being heroic and everyone else just following him. also besides locke is my all time favorite ff character especially the way he came to terra's rescue in the beginning.
