Final Fantasy IX is my favourite final fantasy, it's a great all round RPG and game in general, if you want to hate a game, hate X-2.

I personally think this was not necessary....

My fav FF game. I completed it in two weeks, playing it nonstop because I just fell in love with it. I dont know HOW anyone thinks its impossible.

I would say my least favourite would be FFX, not X-2

Things you would NEVER, ever, do naturally unless you ALREADY KNEW that you had to do these tasks, in order to unlock that particular secret.

This is the only part of what you said that I think is right, only because of ultima weapon.

This game is just soo brilliant. The characters, the plot, the places, tetra master, the ability system, the music, the ending, the battle animations all added to this genius that is FFIX. I for one thought Quina was funny, interesting and original.

now i'm trying to unlock the alt. ending.... and find ultama! (in 9 of course)

I thought 9 was well done, the story was kick ass, and the FMVs pushed the lil old 32 bit PlayStation to its limits. When Final Fantasy IX came out, the PS2 was out already, i think square made the game a little to powerful for the PS1 so the PS2 could take advantage of it a lil more. Not a problem though.

*Alive-Man gets hit with Meteor for so much damage the PS2 can't calculate it and explodes into a firey mass hitting Spirits Within and X-2 In teh FACE*

In all of my many experiences through FF9 i have never found Ultima. Besides there is not another slot in Vivi's black magic list for Ultima
