FFVII should be at the top of everyone's list, but FFIX was good. BTW why open a thread like this in a FFIX forum? The answer is attention, this guy just wants attention. Eventhough I do agree that a lot of things sucked from this game, it was still a great game, especially the ending.

I would put it at #3 on my favourite Final Fantasies list
I have a few problems with it though.
Zidane has a tail....why? Really, the tail sucks!
Some of the areas I had to go to bothered me, the one with the candles got so boring and repetative.
I just didn't have any memorable moments from this game like I did with FFVII, FFVIII and currently FFX. I guess I couldn't relate to the characters as much as I could with with FF games.
Oh well, I still loved the game and Bahamut looked way cool as he always does.
Good addition to the series, deserves its place in the FF line.

And FF9 is my favorite. It blows FF7 out of the water. Yeah Sephiroth was cool, but a Kuja and his man thong is way better
RaidenWeb, I did beat the game. Maybe I can't remember though, its been a long time since I beat it.
Kuja was cool because he was so evil, but it took me a while to realize he was a guy. At least they went back to the Silver Hair = Evil thing :P
The trance system is easily the worst limit system on the next gen consoles. The fact that it takes ages to charge is bad enough, then the fact that you have no control over when it triggers is just stupid. Add that to the fact that some characters Trance modes were pretty useless, and yeah. It sucked.

7 is nowhere near the top of my list. FF8 and Suikoden 2 are up at the top of mine.
I hate this game with a passion. Apart from horrid memories of spending a summer watching an ex complete it, I hated the characters. He nicknamed me Eiko for f**ks sake...Glad thats over with!
I hated the bad guy cause he wasnt one. Kuja scares me as much as a moth does...and thats very little. Zidane annoyed me going on and on about women and at one point he felt Garnets arse (when they are climbing up into an airship)! Vibi annoyed me being miserable and questioning life. Steiner never shut up, Freya is in a never ending cycle of love depression, Eiko is a bossy boots and Quina is...well its Quina! Nuff said!
The battle system with trance got old pretty quick, the OST didnt make me feel passionate about the game and the character design was...bizzare and far from realistic. Fair enough its a game, but horns, strange Quina things and tails I cant be bothered handling.
