As much as I could because it was non stop stopping and starting. I watched a good portion of it before I had to stop cause it was all over the place.
EDIT: Just managed to skim through it and personally that was far too long for a trailer.

Final fantasy IX wasnt really my favourite but it was good. One of my top 4.

1 > VIII
2 > VI
3 > VII
4 > IX

All the references to the older generation (even to FF1 at times) were really fun.

Hmm...I'm noticing alot of Steiner-bashing. Steiner was a great character, very original. People who don't like Steiner can't be my friend.

People probably wouldn't bash Steiner if he had long flowing hair and a girlish face. That's the way most fans of this series decide what characters they like, parade avatars of, etc. If Steiner were pretty, I'm sure the adjectives would change from "bumbling and oafish" to "clumsy but dedicated." Quite sad, really.

I am about half-way through my first time playing IX, and I love it. The game has a pretty humble essence, which is why it doesn't stand out that much.

Thats a ridic reason, fair enough your FF geek boys may think this, but people mainly didnt like Steiner because he was just plain annoying, Screaming "PRINCESS!" at the top of his voice when they are mean to be travelling incarnato (sp) is not that funny, it gets a tad bit boring.
