I personally really enjoyed FFIX, it being prob my fav. Final Fantasy tied with VII,VIII, X, and VI, sry I just can't pick one out of those, to me they are all great games in their own respect. I do agree that the guide sucked though, having you look up something online every 5 mins. kind of defeats the purpose of buying a guide that you can, get this, take with you! *gasps* I could of saved 15$ and just went to gamefaqs.com

No they do not. That movie was terrible it was not true to the final fantasy series at all. They clearly tried to commercialize it. You only have to watch the movie and see the lack of character the characters have to see that they were following in the current movie trend of no character development whatsoever. It was so obvious they'd tried to make the chracters like your typical american movie characters. "The ive got no personality" lead characters, "but hey, I don't have enough of a personality for you to dislike me."

That's the problem. People hate it only because it's not related to the FF games. However... if the movie didn't have the "FF" in its name, people would think of it as a pretty good animated movie. The characters in "The Spirits Within" are actually, in my opinion, better developed than those in "FFVII:AC"... and the storyline is better as well.

Well I haven't seen advent children yet so I couldn't really comment on that. But I know I wouldn't have liked the spirits within regardless of whether it was final fantasy or not.

I didn't like ff9 because I found it to be too much like ff4, a game I found boring to play.

There were some good moments in teh plot that were interesting, but they got overshadowed by something. I'm not sure what.

The music was very nice though.

I can't say that I hated it, but the game does have some problems. What really irritated me was Eiko and Quina. They are soo thrown into your party without a good reason. I mean, Eiko is in the party because she loves Zidane, and Quina wants to eat everything in the world. To me they wanted to put a Blue Mage and another White Mage/ Summoner, but couldn't find a good way to do it. But, overrall, it's a good game.

they put Eiko in cause she was another summoner and helped release Alexander and she lives in an empty village with the Eidolon Wall and she has one of the four jewels. They just threw her in your party cause she helped move the story line. Quina....they threw her in so you could eat things (duh)

Final Fantasy IX is my favourite final fantasy, it's a great all round RPG and game in general, if you want to hate a game, hate X-2.

In games like FFVII and earlier, you theoretically could have worked these secrets out yourself simply through attentive game play.

In games like FFX-2, I give you a prime example: The Ragnarok accessory. The only way you'd EVER be able to obtain that is by knowing, from outside help, what you need to do and in the order to do the them in.

And don't even get me started on the Mascot dressphere...
