steiner is a great character. it just that the steiner is the funny character Square make other than vivi and eiko. steiner is important in the battle, most people use him cause of his strong HP and attack/defnse. he is caring on vivi "MASTER VIVI". he is a good character, you know, it just that he's stubborn and dumb.

Well I got a question why did you come here in the first place if you don't like it so much, it's not like I go to FF threads I hate just to complain on how much it sucked. Auhin is right, go somewhere else if you don't like FF9 and if you're going to say that it sucked soooo much.

Im not restricted to where I can and cannot post. I came to this section to see if there was anyone else who shared my hate for FF9 and Lord and behold there is.
Oh my God, you lot stop bitching at each other and have a proper unbiased debate about how amazingly-wonderfully-fantasticly-great/bad this game is. Hehe.
People tend to not like FF9 because it's more complicated and deeper than others (I'm expecting some insults from that) and they can't understand it. Boo hoo to them, play something simpler...like Parappa the Rapper, probably suits with your IQ.
And a bit further up this page is a moan about Steiner-bashing. Yup, Steiner was a great character who has good ol' fashioned dilemma between his mind and his heart. Yummy plotlines follow.
Well, I'm out. The point I was making was there's no need for personal insults (though general ones are fine) and anyone who thinks FF9 is a fool.

Steiner was a great character indeed.If it wasn't for him,there wouldn't have been any humour in the story.Even the most serious stories have a little bit of humour.
Threads like these are funny. They have this distinct rise/fall pattern of people looking at the topic humorously and others who discect everything bitterly. If I didn't have a job to go to in a few, I'd actually read through it.
It's still a pretty fun game so far. I can't find anything particularly hate-worthy yet. I like the atmosphere in it. It's relaxing... Like somewhat of a vacation from how over-the-top many current RPGs like to be.
