Help!

I got FFIX and have had it for a while but I'm stil stuck at Gizamaluke's Grotto and can't get past it. I have Zidane,Freya,Vivi,and Quina all at level ten. I was wondering what level I should be to get past here and if any of you have tips to for it.

Be at least 15

Use Zidane's Soul Blade to blind him and steal from him

Use Freya's Jump and Lancer

Use Vivi's strongest Black Magic

I was at level 10 at the petrifying forest. Be at atleast 16 to beat it. If you wanna have an easy time when you fight, be at level 21.

At the beggining, use a tent on him. Then, when the effects wear off, use something to blind him.

Have Freya jumping Vivi using magic. Quina isnt really that much help, just keep her attacking. And Zidane, stealing and when he has nothing left, attacking and use him to use items for recovering the party when needed and attacking.

which part are you stuck on? level 13-15 should be enough to beat the boss but if your stck on the bit where you meet the moogles when you follow then into a room talk to them and leave but do NOT climb the vines in that room because they lead to a field where you will fight grand dragons and garudas which can deal 1000+ damage.

there is a forest north of chocobos forest with mandragoras in gt quina to eat one then get him/her to 1 hp you can then use limt glove on gismaluke it will kill im in 1 hit.

ps limit glove is useful for fightin grand dragons as it dose 9999 damage to anything.

You're going to need some battle experience before you engage this guy too. Fight enemy mosters around the save area to gain enough experience in battle to know how to deal with him.

SNAKE: Anyone coming with me?

COLONEL: As usual this is a one-man infiltration mission Yes. We have selected 3 other members of FOXHOUND, your former unit, to accompany you.

SNAKE: And they are?

COLONEL: Quina Quen - A top of the range translator and a master with a fork. Freya Crescent - Highly skilled in jumping and weilds a powerful spear. And Vivi Ornitier - A wizard with a staff and master of disguise. All of these commandos are specially trained in specialist forms of close-quarters combat.

SNAKE: Bad ass. So what is the strategy for beating this guy?

COLONEL: First, enter the arena and engage into BATTLE MODE. When it is your turn, instantly use a TENT on Gizamaluke, if successful he will be seriously harmed and you can take him down easily.

SNAKE: Anything else?

COLONEL: Yes. I will be there the whole time. If you are stuck on any move during the fight, you can contact me by codec. To use the codec, highlight a move and push the SELECT button. The frequency is 140.85. The codec directly stimulates the small bones of your thumb. Only you will be able to press it.

SNAKE: Okay. Good to go.

COLONEL: Good luck.

COLONEL: Oh SNAKE, one more thing.

SNAKE: Yeah?

COLONEL: I NEED SCISSORS. 61.
