Personally, I find myself coming here less because of all these crap threads. I say we completely get rid of General Chat for a couple weeks. If that doesn't work, shut down the boards for two weeks. That should make people realize that if they don't start posting with a little dignity, the boards will be gone (for them). Or we could ban every member who has a name longer than ten letters. (That's just random, I don't have anything against names with 10+ letters.

Or alternatively, ban three members.

The current state of general chat right this moment, really does make me sad, it's over a small thing as spam, spam can be good, but really spam is the worst thing that can happen to a forum. The only thing those who shall remain unnamed have running for em is that they aren't trolling. If you're going to make more than 5 posts in a thread and then keep posting with only two other people this shouldn't be accepted withing such a short period of time in such a large forum.

If you mean who I think you mean, then I think they're just excited about the Ciddies, and have decided the best way to win Ciddies is to spam a lot so people notice them.

Therefore, we can conclude it is all the Ciddies' fault, and so therefore Award Guy's fault, and so therefore Loony BoB's fault, and that we should ban Loony BoB, which is something I've been recommending for a while now. Wish you'd listened to me now, don't you?

Quit the digs, guys. Some of us find your spam to be just as crap as theirs, I assure you. And I also assure you that there are definitely more than just 1-3 members that have crap spam in EoFF. Also, most of the spammers seem to be picking up dislikes for each other... I can sort of see this film plot unwinding. A bit like some kind of gang war, where there's this one big gang, along with a few smaller gangs and a couple of individuals who are all trying to make it in the world of the bigger gangs. And then there's this crime squad, who are given the job of not just getting the gang wars to go away, but also the job of getting the gangsters to turn straight, and all the while they have to do it with minimum casualties on both sides. I got popcorn.

Haven't you seen The Untouchables? Nearly the entire crime squad dies. That can't be good for somebody.
