I got a playstation 2. Then i saw a commercial for X-2, so i rented X just to try it. Then later i found out a friend was playing the game as well. then later he lent me FF7. Thats how it all began.

i watched my brother play FFVI on super nintendo when the game was called FFIII. I thought the game had amazing music and an incredible story line to it so then i wanted to play it, then he had 7 on his computer and then i bought a mini ps1 because i didnt have enough money for a regular one and i really wanted to play FFVII and the guy who was selling me the consol gave me the game aswell. and then yea...i got addicted.

My friend used to bring around his playstation whenever he came to my place, one of the games he would always play was FFVII. Later on he brought with him VIII and then IX. Then I finally got a PSX and borrowed VIII off another friend, thus ending in me getting my own copy. Loved Final Fantasy ever since.

A good friend of mine was into FF3 and many NES/SNES RPGs. He got me interested in Zelda games, Lufia 2, and Illusion of Gaia. When he got a Playstation and FF7, I was hooked. I got the PC version about the day it came out in the US.

I bought the original FF when it came out on NES and I've played every one that been released here since. Now if I could only figure out a way to play FFVII on the psp.

I was given FFX as a gift a few years ago, and in less than a year I played most of the series.

A friend of mine who was going on 50 at the time had piles of RPGs. I used to go over to her place if I was sick from school (we were family friends). And then we started having game days where we would rent a snes rpg and try to beat it. But yeah, at first, like most people, I was intimidated by the menus and the fact that world map went on and on! Of course, it didn't really, that was just 'cause the games I played befpre unrealistically made the world a squuare that didn't wrap-around. lol. FF6 was the first I played, then 4, which I didn't beat since I wasn't that good at them back then. After that, it's a blur of a lot of games. congrats to all those that have loved it since the beginning. If I had been older than one year old at the time, I'm sure I'd have been there since the beginning. But yeah. Props! lol

I was in 6th Grade in 1998. I just became close friends with someone. I had Chrono Trigger at the time. He wanted to borrow it, so I told him to lend me one of his SNES games. He handed FF IV(known as FF II at the time)to me. At first I was bored with it, then his best file got deleted somehow. I told him I was keep his game for a little while longer until I get the file the way he had it before. As I kept playing the game, I was getting into it. The more I played it, the more fun I had with it. After I finished the game, I returned it to him with a file that was a little better than his. Few weeks later, went to Kmart and I saw a used copy of FF VI(known as FF III at the time)It was cheap too. I thought to myself "Hey look. another FF game. Maybe it will be as good as the other one." So I bought it. I went home to play it and I was very pleased it. From that point on, I started to keep track of every FF game that was released and bought it. In other words, FF IV and VI got me into FFs and those two games will always be my top 2 favorites because of it.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"
