Default Dirge of Cerberus to Ship With Final Fantasy VII Tech Demo

Japanese RPGamers can look forward to an unexpected treat with their copies of Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus. Those who pre-order the Vincent Valentine actioner will receive a bonus DVD featuring a suite of demos and trailers. The DVD packs Dirge of Cerberus's own trailer, as well as those for the Final Fantasy VII-based Crisis Core, Before Crisis and Advent Children.

Perhaps the DVD's most exciting feature, however, is the inclusion of the Final Fantasy VII tech demo for Playstation3. Previously shown only at a handful of exclusive game shows, the demo highlights the PS3's graphical prowess by showing a real-time version of Final Fantasy VII's famous FMV intro, complete with graphics well beyond the level of the original FMVs.

As yet, Square-Enix has not confirmed whether the bonus DVD offer will be made available to RPGamers outside Japan.

    Vaan - "Hey, you!"
Penelo - "Yeah, you! The one reading this sig at this very moment!"
Vaan - "Interested in playing FFXII International Zodiac Job system?"
Ashe - "But you have no knowledge of the Japanese language?"
    Fran - "....We could help...."
Balthier - "That's right, Fran! Just click on Crossblades' thread on the very bottom of this signature and it will show you all license grid translations, magicks and tecks locations, and other changes that were made!"
Basch - "Don't forget though. Swap Magic is needed to play this game if you don't own a japanese PS2."
Vaan - "Also remember that if you played the original, you'll have an easier time playing the international version. We hope you enjoy the International Zodiac Job System experience. See ya then!"

Interesting. I hope that the extras are included outside Japan.
