Netspeak is annoying only when not done intentionally by people who obviously would't use it. If a poser tries to use it intentionally, it's just more annoying

Also, I remembered the episode from my youth.

    Setting: After lunch at Pre-school
Cast: Myself, my class, my teacher, and the cute boy named Adam's little sister Samantha.

Summary: We were told to be quiet until our teacher came back. Sitting at our little tables, Samantha starts saying the word "topsy" over and over and over again.
"Topsytopsytopsytopsytopsytopsy" and got louder and louder. Our efforts to silence her were in vain.

We all had to put our heads down until our parents came to pick us up.

Since that day, I have not liked Samantha or the word "Topsy". One of our cows was named Topsy, and until we sold her, I was never very fond of her.

There was a guy who was desperately trying to get me to go out with him and he said "ill take you out for scran". I thought, no you won't! I hate any obnoxious spouting of religion. "God doesn't pay back with money" and other rubbish like that. I hate all swear words im sick of hearing them. And the word cool is also used far too often fine in moderation but its so over used. Im sick of hearing the words shag and snog . I don't like the word chav either. And people randomly describing virtually every fashion item or look as boho. And pathetic mortals talking about survival of the fittest. And anything along the lines of a womans place is in the home.

I can't stand some of the casual buzz-words and tired old phrases I hear nowadays.

Shag, snog," mas-ai", by the way, " man " ... um ... the use of the word " but " and other conjunctions at the end of sentences. Also, Goth, Mosher, Emo, Chav and other stereotypes. I also dislike the words superfluos and high-falluting. Oh, and " crap " - that word is over-used nowadays. Overused for my liking. And what about that phrase " In my day... ", " Back in the day ..." or " Oh, how times sure have changed." And what about the words " cute", " princess" and " grumpy".

And what about when people say " Heads Up ! " when common sense would tell you to duck. It makes absolutely no sense.

What else... funky, trendy, hip,mondo-condo,geezer,six-feet-under, " chick flick " ... oh, and " bourgeouis " ... that makes my blood boil that one.

'Noob'. Theres something extremely irritating about that word. What cracks me up is the people usually using it and directing it to a new member are 'noobs' themselves.

Like. When it's overused it in a sentence. Like, totally, like like.
