When English settlers landed in America they were gonna starve and die, but the natives saved them by teaching them how to grow corn and crap. So they celebrated by having a feast and then killing all the natives. So every year we duplicate that feast with our families.
Schlup has answered that question, however, she left out the fact that we've killed most of the natives and so we've left out that part and just have a big feast and talk about shooting natives and how much fun our ancestors must have had in doing so.
And now the natives live on small reservations and own casinos...

Black Tuesday = Day of the Stock Market Crash, October 1929, and also, some refer to Sept. 11, 2001 as Black Tuesday. Also, there has been a Black Monday, because of the 1987 stock market crash.
And trust me, the sales are NOT all they're cracked up to be.
