I dont like the 360 but thats one hella stupid article.
I dont like the 360 but thats one hella stupid article.
SSBR alone is enough of a reason for me to get a Revolution and I'll also get a PS3, mainly because of FF. As for Xbox 360... the only game that I'm really excited about so far, Oblivion, will be aviable for PC anyways...
So yeah... there's a 99,9998% chanse that I'll get a Revolution AND a PS3 but not an Xbox 360.![]()
Oh so very typical. There are teams dedicated to each system, however its the NINTENDO fanboys that blatently dedicate their entire article to attacking the opposition. Not doing yourselves any favours there.
Yes, especialy when you're perpetuating them.Meh... ts impossible to escape Bias opinions... lol

Then lastly the Revolution's. Also, Matt Casamassina, the writer of the Revolution article is highly sarcastic... and the list seems more of a parody of the other two lists with bits of truth thrown in rather than a full blown, whole hearted list. When I read it, it seemed to be written with a sarcastic tone.

I don't see why you're all getting bent out of shape over a silly top ten article. xD
Signature by rubah. I think.
The list was humorus with truth. but what really bugs me is, last night on the news, the reporters were saying how the 360 was going to "revolutionize" gaming. this disgusted me because, although i have no problem with the xbox, they didnt change anything. the controller is the same. its the same type of games, the same gameplay. what did they revolutionize? seriously their product is far from innovative. It really is just a updated xbox. like you might update a computer, all the software is basically the same.
you people are blowing this out or proportion. AS people have said, each section of IGN printed an article about the 360.
Of course it's biased, it's the Nintendo section. PLUS if you read the title, it says, Xbox 360 is not a Revolution, not meaning a revolution in gaming, but actually referring the the Revolution system. You people need to pay more attention. The article was about reasons to not get a 360 and to get a Revolution, and the article is obviously targeted at Nintendo fans, so just deal.

yah... lol just like the PS3 one is aimed at the Sony fans... X3

Hey, even the PS guys say 360 isn't worth it... So its not just the Nintendo fanboy article. XD
And although, I could care less what other people buy... and I try to look at consoles equally... I feel like Revolution is worth promoting! lol
I can just clearly see that Rev and PS3 are worth waiting for... even if its just waiting... to see which is best. ^_~

Its a aobut time a company of another country besides "Japan" gets into the console market. I mean don't expect anything big right now except for the game Oblivion. Which is a RPG but it isn't a Japaneese RPG because it ain't playable anime. Its more like Morrowind if you have ever played a real RPG Morrowind will be one.Originally Posted by edczxcvbnm
Also FPS games are the best lol in my opinion. They sell better in North and South America and in Europe.
They don't sell good in Japan for some reason but FPS game developers really don't care about them they know it ownt sell in Japan so they won't market FPS games that much in Japan. But who cares if it bombs in Japan.. Does crap have to be approved by the japaneese in order for people to know its good or not?
xbox 360 isn't a game its a console and most of its devlppers are PC game developers and I mean the just came out but if oyu look at its capabilities Xbox 360 is revolutionary just like the Xbox just like the Sega Dreamcast. It sets a bar on performance. Microsoft is good at marketing towards PC game developers and a few quality games are going to come out soon. Such as Oblivion, and Call Of Duty 2.Originally Posted by Fithos

I care because I like Japanese games more such as MGS, Rez or Pikmin. If the 360 doesn't gain considerable market share over there then those games will almost all go to the PS3 and last gen will turn out like this one. I don't have a problem with micrsoft being the #1 console maker but if all they have is FPS games and such in the future then they will not be the #1 console maker as they will miss about 1/3rd of the market.Originally Posted by lordblazer
Now that this is out of the way...I played Perfect Dark Zero and Call of Duty 2 on the 360...both games sucked and had some serious flaws to me. Perfect dark just had ty level design and seemed to move at too slow of a pace. Also lack of the jump button is a big piss off.
Call of Duty 2 can only have 1 person per system when system linked but can have 4 on a box if you are doing regular multi-player. What the hell is up with that. Outside of that huge glaring flaw the game was fine from what I played.

Japan might not be as huge economy as CA(or so you say) but gamingwise they beat US i would think.
In any case nothing has changed, Revolution, then PS3. Xbox has failed to impress me again since most of it doesnt cater to me.
