So I just spent a good two hours killing 1,000 rabites so that black ones spawn. Is there any redeeming quality to killing them, or are they just a bit harder than any normal monster in the game?

So I just spent a good two hours killing 1,000 rabites so that black ones spawn. Is there any redeeming quality to killing them, or are they just a bit harder than any normal monster in the game?
Other then a truckload of experience they have awesome but rare drops.
Every 'black' enemy in SoM can drop Crystal, which makes the ultimate weapons and armors for the hero.
And black enemies also drop Altena, which makes the ultimate armors for the heroine.
But be prepared to kill A LOT of those black rabbites to get them. Its a 2% chance to get Crystal or Altena. :mog:

heh, I remember when i played sword of mana. Great game. Anyways, i spent a hellova time beating rabites and black rabites so i was lvl 22 before I even got Undine :P
