What you're forgetting is that Kingdom Hearts is non-canon with regards to the Final Fantasy characters. Bring in the REAL Cloud, Squall, Cid and the others, not the wussified Kingdom Hearts versions, and they'd have no trouble making Ansem drink his own piss.
