I never played it on GameCube. That battle... I was stuck on for about 2 months!only one that ever took me so long! Anyway... don't use a lot of sleights unless you have a lot of item cards... they'll eat up your deck... use 7 or above #d cure cards to avoid having to use them is sleights! Have lots of 0's! 0's and 9's! Break all of the Dark Aura attacks... the one when he warps around the field then makes it so Sora is confused, and don't let him get a combo on you... it paralyzes Sora...
It will probably take you a while... It really is one of the more difficult battles. I found it harder than the final boss...

I had an easy time with that fight, on both halfs. I had loads of 9 Keyblades, and had a set of 3 cures at the end, then 9 elixers and megalixirs. Use parisite cage, jafar, and the Wonderland cards to make it easier. Also Darkball is a MUST!

Darkball hides your cards from an opponent... when you play against the actual game, can the computer baddies see your cards... i thought darkball was only for link battles...

I don't think so, usually they will only use cards higher than yours (defenders for example), but when I use it, they start they start throwing 1's and 2's also.

I got all 0 cards for boss fights. Wait untill you see his card appear at the bottom and crush everything!
I tried for a long time to beat him legit and couldn't do it.
With all 0's it took 1 try.
